No school for students on Monday February 2, 2026

Monday, February 2 is a PD Day (No classes). School resumes on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

René Deleurme Centre Programs and Services:

There are some new and ongoing programs and services at the Rene Deleurme Centre. Please share with your community.  

• New dates for the Fresh Food Box Program at the Rene Deleurme Centre and Nelson McIntryre Collegiate (RDC North), see poster for details! 
• Monthly drop-in dates for support around Employment and Income Assistance are posted and will run every second Thursday from 11:00-3:00pm.  
• Facilitators from Snowbird Lodge will be at RDC to offer free weekly sessions on how to manage stress beginning on January 29th; please contact Allison Drummond E: allison.drummond@LRSD.net to register 

Feel free to reach out to ask about access to bus tickets and childcare. 

Student Lead-Fundraising Activity (Club Nature)

Club Nature (our lunch-hour committee) invites all students, families, and friends to a Valentine’s Dance at Champlain Community Center, Saturday, Feb 7th, 6–8 pm. This is a fundraiser for a local dog shelter, featuring music, puppies for adoption, and many opportunities to donate and have fun!

Grade 4 Orff Day in Early February

On Thursday, February 5^th, our grade 4 students will be participating in a divisional day of musical learning. More information to come.

The Parent Advisory Council is pleased to offer the following hot lunch date!
