Please review the following information about the upcoming bike bus/vélobus :

We are excited about once again offering a bike bus/vélobus for families from École Provencher and École Henri-Bergeron in 2026. The dates for this year are: May 22, May 29, June 4 (this is a Thursday as there is no school on the 5th for École Provencher), June 12, and June 19. Special thanks to the 8 parents who volunteered their time to form this year's planning committee.

Bike Repair Night: LRSD is hosting families for an evening of bike-friendly activities and a chance to tune up your bicycles with The Wrench for free on May 7th from 4pm-7pm at École Howden. Check out the attached poster for details.

Bike Marshal Training: Interested in helping with the bike bus but feel as though you could use some experience supporting a group ride first? There are some training opportunities available to learn how to marshal for group rides.

Training through LRSD: Offered during the Bike Repair Night at École Howden. Training starts at 5pm and includes an on-road component, so bring your bikes. Childcare will be provided.

We also have a new logo for our bike bus/vélobus! A special thanks to local graphic artist and LRSD parent Carley Dupuis who donated her time to create this fun visual representation! École Provencher will also be running our first ever pit stop on June 9^th in support of Bike to School Day. More details to come shortly, but if you are passionate about cycling, consider volunteering to run the pit stop with Mme Suzanne and students by emailing: suzanne.simpson@lrsd.net.
