The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Trustees received two student presentations, one from two students from École Henri-Bergeron, and another from a group of high school students on the divisional Student Advisory Board. Both presentations
Trustees received a list of private members’ bills regarding education that are coming before the provincial government.
An announcement was made regarding the successful ratification of collective agreements with CUPE.
The Superintendent shared highlights from the Leadership Team Meeting held on April 16, 2026.
Information Systems Director Clarke Hagan provided an overview of the draft AI Guidelines and Microsoft Copilot Agents.
Assistant Superintendent Guenther presented the Workplace Safety and Health third quarter report.
The Board reviewed the following policies:
- Revisions to Policy EEA.1 – Student Services Transportation Protocol
- Policy IKEAA – Academic Honesty (First Reading)
The meeting concluded with action items being approved related to the Balanced School Day schedule for the upcoming school year at Darwin and Highbury Schools.
The Board recorded correspondence as being received.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:55 p.m.
