9:10 a.m.: Due to the current air quality warning from Environment and Climate Change Canada, all schools have also been instructed to reconsider any outdoor events planned for today (June 2, 2025). In addition, we will be cancelling outdoor morning recess and will reassess conditions for the afternoon. 

UPDATE 1:40 p.m.: The Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) is currently at 6. For the general population, this means there's no need to modify your usual outdoor activities unless you experience symptoms such as coughing or throat irritation. As for recess, it will proceed as scheduled this afternoon. We will continue to monitor students and staff for any symptoms related to air quality, such as coughing or throat irritation.
