  • Information Evening for Prospective Teachers in LRSD

Are you a teacher passionate about creating inclusive and equitable learning environments? Do you believe in fostering engagement, curiosity, and a sense of care in your students? If so, we invite you to join us for an information evening at the Legacy Centre on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

We welcome both experienced teachers and those in their final certification year to explore the rewarding opportunities within the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD). Our event aims to provide valuable insights into teaching in LRSD, our Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP), vision, mission, and much more.

A highlight of the evening will be a panel discussion featuring educators from within LRSD. They'll share their experiences, insights, and perspectives on what makes teaching in LRSD unique. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just beginning your teaching journey, this panel promises to offer valuable insights into our educational ethos.

Attendees will also have the chance to connect with school and divisional leaders and fellow educators during our networking session.

Curious about how to apply to teach in LRSD? We've got you covered. Learn about the application and staffing process directly from our team. Discover the steps involved and gain practical tips to enhance your application.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about teaching in LRSD in either a term or permanent position for the 2024/2025 school year and beyond. The Louis Riel School Division is committed to employment equity and accessibility. We encourage members of equity-seeking groups with diverse abilities, backgrounds, cultures, and identities to attend.

Preregistration is not required; however, we encourage you to reserve your spot via Eventbrite. The event is open to all individuals interested in teaching in LRSD, regardless of background or experience.
