LRSD’s Community Kitchen Grand Opening at René Deleurme Centre

The Louis Riel School Division's Community Kitchen, located at the René Deleurme Centre, is thrilled to announce it opened to the public on Monday, February 12.

Formerly known as "Bistro in the Park," LRSD staff, students, and community members can purchase a variety of ready-made and frozen comfort foods, ranging from homemade lasagnas to Shepherd's Pies, beef and vegetarian chilis, turkey pot pies, Bannock, quesadillas, homemade soups, sauces, and more.

Operating hours are Monday through Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. As the nature of your anticipated visit is brief, you may utilize the daycare drop-off and pick-up loading zone or visitor parking. In the event these spaces are occupied, street parking is available.

More than just a culinary destination, the Community Kitchen serves as a training and educational facility, equipping students across the division with essential life and career skills. Additionally, they offer a range of kitchen and culinary programs for adults and volunteer opportunities for community members.

The Community Kitchen hopes to serve former customers who have supported the "Bistro in the Park" so much over the years and is also very excited to meet new customers. Please remember to bring your reusable grocery bags for your purchases. We thank you in advance for understanding that we are a training and educational facility.
