At the October 3 Regular Board Meeting, Marlene Murray, Liaise Assistant Superintendent to the J.H. Bruns Collegiate and Windsor Park Collegiate Family of Schools, announced her intention to retire effective December 31, 2023. 

Marlene has served in several roles in the former St. Vital School Division and the Louis Riel School Division. She was appointed to the role of Assistant Superintendent in 2013 and during this time she has contributed to the growth of the school division alongside members of the Senior Leadership Team. In the weeks ahead, I look forward to celebrating Marlene’s accomplishments with many of you.  

On behalf of everyone in Louis Riel School Division, I wish Marlene all the best in the years ahead.
