If you visit our website often, you might notice some changes when you checked it out today. We made some updates to improve the accessibility of our homepage and help you find what you need more easily: 

1. Wider Page 
   The content on the homepage now takes up more of the screen: no more zooming in to read Spotlight Stories or squinting your eyes to see who’s in what picture!
    
2. Customize Your Accessibility Options
   If you look to the bottom left corner of your computer screen, you will see a small person icon. This is our new accessibility friend! Clicking on him will open up a panel of accessibility options to make our website easier for you to browse. Adjust colour contrast, reduce motions and animations, access reading assistant tools and LOTS more! Customize our website to what works best for you. 
   
   
3. Improved Popular Links 
   We wanted to make it easier for you to find the links you’re looking for. The “Popular Links” section of our homepage has moved up and now has icons so you can easily see what you’re looking for at a glance. Links are also categorized based on who might be browsing; you can filter by parents, students, community, and staff. 
   
   
4. News, Announcements, and Upcoming Events
   While we still have our divisional calendar and newsfeed, we’ve improved their layout on the homepage so it’s easier for you to skim.  
   
   
5. School Specific Information 
   Principals, vice-principals, and school hours are clearly listed near the bottom of every school page. No more digging through page after page looking! 
   
   
6. Contact Us
   Looking to get in touch with the board office or a specific school? We now have a “Contact Form” button at the bottom of every page. Just give it a click, fill in the boxes, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as we can! 
   
   
7. LRSD Connect App 
   Want to easily access divisional and school level information at your fingertips? We have an app for that! LRSD Connect is a mobile friendly version of our website where you can see newsfeed stories, review the school year calendar, or access important links.
