School Board Member since 2014

Josie Landry is a retired teacher and LRSD community member for over 40 years. Her two children attended LRSD schools.

She is passionate about public education and ensuring that young people reach their potential.

Josie is proud to be part of a school division that is open to receiving input from staff, students and parents in endeavouring to ensure that needs, inclusion and equity for all are met. She strongly believes trustees need to reach out and be present at school, staff and community events.

Ensuring curriculum requirements are met, supporting the arts, physical education, Indigenous programming, and addressing mental health and special needs in both the French Immersion and English Program are her priorities.
