With more horrific truths being uncovered about the realities of residential schools, flags throughout the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) will be lowered until the end of the school year in remembrance and honour of those who lost their lives at Marieval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan and in residential schools across the country.

A national Indian Residential School Crisis Line has been set up to provide support for former students and those affected. Access emotional and crisis referral services by calling the 24-hour national crisis line: 1-866-925-4419.
Youth can access Kids Help Phone and request to speak to an Indigenous crisis responder: call 1-800-668-6868 or text 686868.
There are also a number of local Indigenous Cultural Healing Supports available.
