Family Centres Re-Opening

Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) Family Centres are a free community place for families to play, learn and grow together. A variety of programs are offered throughout the year and focus on supporting families with preschool children.

We are happy to announce the re-opening of these spaces. In preparation, we have made some adjustments to adhere to current Public Health Orders and LRSD policies:

Outdoor activities and virtual programming will be leveraged to the largest extent possible.
Group sizes will be smaller and program times may be shortened depending on the number of registrants at each school.
Attendance capacities will be determined based on two metres of physical distancing.
Parents/guardians are defined as visitors and will be required to adhere to policies:

Masks are recommended but not required for pre-school aged children.
Families must self-screen prior to arriving at the Family Centre.
Attendance will be recorded and tracked on the Family Center App.
Only one adult may attend with the child(ren).
Registration is required by phone, email, or conference manager.
Families may only register and attend at one school.
Once registered, visitors will be assigned a day and time to attend. This will be the group (cohort) they will attend with.
To reduce the risk and help with contact tracing, drop-ins will not be permitted.
