Substitute Applications

Have you thought about working in education and becoming a substitute teacher? 

Do you have a degree in:
  • Humanities
  • Math
  • Sciences
  • Literature
  • Music
  • Kinesiology

Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) is looking for individuals with post-secondary degrees interested in becoming a substitute teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. 

To apply to be a substitute in LRSD, please complete the Limited Teaching Permit (LTP) form and submit it along with the following documentation:
  • A completed Substitute Teacher Form (STF)
  • Any other required documentation as outlined in the LTP or STF
  • A $25 cheque/money order (or Visa/Mastercard payment) payable to the Minister of Finance for the LTP fee
 
Once your application is completed and all documentation is attached, please mail your application to:

c/o Staff Services
900 St. Mary’s Road
R2M 3R3

You can also drop off the completed applications at 900 St. Mary's Road, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Louis Riel School Division is also accepting substitute applications for the 2020-2021 School Year for the following four employee groups:

Substitute Teaching Application

Substitute Educational Assistant Application

Substitute Clerical Application

Substitute Library Assistant Application


Please download, complete and submit hard copies of the appropriate application and attach all supporting documentation, including Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record Check documents (no copies--only originals will be accepted).

Your application must include all required documentation as detailed and itemized in each package.

Once completed, please mail your application to:

Please ensure you have familiarized yourself with the Safe Work Procedure contained in the Substitute Applications.
