General Information

  • Applicants are encouraged to apply to any posting that interests them.
  • The bulletin number must be quoted on each application.
  • A new and complete application/resume must be received for every posting/bulletin of interest.
  • Submit application according to the "Application Procedure" listed on the job posting.
  • Do not send applications to the general Louis Riel School Division e-mail address or to individual Human Resources Department staff members.
  • An offer of employment with Louis Riel School Division is subject to the results of a Criminal Record Check and a clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
  • Only those under consideration will be contacted for an interview.
  • Applicants for teaching positions must hold either a permanent or provisional Teaching Certificate or a Limited Teaching Permit issued by Manitoba Education.

Please see attached communication to parents/guardians of École Van Belleghem students. In collaboration with Winnipeg Police security measures will be in place at the school on Monday, January 21, 2019 as they investigate a social media threat to the school and other schools in Winnipeg.

LRSD would like to clear up confusion regarding the social media threats directed to École Van Belleghem. The school is NOT in a lockdown as of Thursday. The school IS in a hold and secure (classes continue, exterior doors locked) as of Friday afternoon until the school closes.

In cooperation with the Winnipeg Police, @belleghemLRSD is in a hold & secure after threats were made to the school & other Wpg schools. School is continuing but with exterior doors locked & a strong staff presence. The school has contacted parents & will update them as necessary.
