Welcome to École Varennes' Website
Our school is a Kindergarten to Grade Eight school which serves approximately 270 students. We have been a French Immersion school since 1978.
We at école Varennes believe in the value of a solid education in both of Canada's official languages. We believe in every student's potential for success, and we believe that the strength of our school lies in the support it receives from students, families and staff members. We encourage parental involvement in the school, and recognize the need for our school to contribute to the betterment of our society in general.
Our staff has a mission statement which we use to guide our professional decisions while working with our students and the entire Varennes family:
La mission du personnel de l’école Varennes est de créer un climat positif basé sur un respect mutuel. Ce respect doit favoriser l’apprentissage et l’agrandissement personnel dans un milieu ou le français est utilisé et valorisé par tous les membres de la communauté de Varennes.
The mission of the staff of école Varennes is to create a positive climate based on mutual respect. We must respect each other in order to foster learning and personal growth in a setting where French is valued and used by all members of the Varennes community.
