Principal's BulletinWednesday January 27, 2010Fragrances in the EnvironmentSome adults and children have sensitivities to a variety of fragrances or scented products. These sensitivities can mean that someone develops a headache, becomes light headed or nauseous or experiences respiratory difficulties. Products that may have this effect on people include items like colognes, perfumes, body sprays, hand lotions and some hair products. We ask that all people who come to Windsor Park Collegiate consider the amount they apply and to limit their use while at school. For those individuals who need to use products following physical activity, please consider using unscented products. This request is not a ban on scented products, but a request to voluntarily refrain from using products that have a detrimental health effect on others.
