What's Happening?Time is valuable, and keeping track of school events and activities can be challenging. What's Happening? is a quick-reference tool that provides information about developments that affect students, parents, staff and the school community. How many students participated in the Grade 7 basketball tournament? When and where is the workshop about Internet safety occurring? How do I sign up to volunteer at my child’s school? Visit monthly to learn more about the school’s upcoming events. What's happening in June?It is a very busy time of the year with many final activities happening: Please plan on attending our Family BBQ on June 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. Survivor Guy will once again be our invited guest. Our volunteer tea will take place on June 5 from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m. This event is our way of thanking the volunteers for their time, commitment and hard work. We have two assemblies highlighting Aboriginal talent: the group Back 40 on June 11 at 2 p.m. and Winston Wuttunee on June 18 at 12:30 p.m. Students will also showcase their drumming skills at an assembly on June 24 at 12:15 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend. A special Grade 8 celebration will take place at noon on June 26. Please mark your calendar with these important dates:
