Student Progress Conferences

Student Progress Conferences will take place on Wednesday, March 3th from 3:30 until 7:00 pm and Thursday, March 4th from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. These conferences are being held to help ensure that you are provided with as much information as possible about the progress of your child(ren). Combined with regular notes in agendas and contacts initiated by both home and school, these conferences will make our lines of communication as open as possible. The students play a crucial role in this process, because they know the most about their own progress. Please bring your child to the meeting with you.

A free child care service will be provided by our Family Centre both evenings. As siblings can pose a distraction during conferences, you are strongly encouraged to avail yourself of this service. Be sure to take time to look around the centre while you are there.

Please fill out one form per family and return it to your youngest child’s teacher by Tuesday, February 9th. Individual teachers will coordinate the times of visits in their classrooms. There may be some challenges for those of you who have more than one child in the school. We will do our best to respect your preferences. The schedule indicating conference times will be sent home with your child’s progress report on February 18th.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be on display at the library both days. Books and other items will be available for purchase during the conference times. Students will preview the materials during the day, with sales being conducted in the evenings only.
