General Vanier School participates in the Sobey's School is Cool program. 

For every dollar that you spend at Sobey's on St. Anne's Road and Bishop Grandin, our school will receive 1 point. We are currently at 83,000 points. Once General Vanier School reaches 100,000 points we receive a cheque for $250.

The next time you need to go shopping please remember to shop at Sobey's and give your school's name.

What's happening in September?

What's Happening Regarding School Opening:

• Many details about school procedures can be found in the "Handbook" section of the school website.
• Volleyball and running club sign-up has begun. Check with our Phys. Ed. staff for details.
• Please be sure to contact the office when your child is away from school.
• Traffic in front of the school can be quite congested. Safety is always more important than convenience when it comes to the well-being of our school community. Please obey parking regulations and reduce your speed near the school.
• Grade 6 students are back on safety patrol duty.
• Canteen will be available starting Monday, September 15.
• Volunteers are always appreciated. Contact the school if you can help out.
