Message from the Administration

February was our second reporting period, and consequently you will have already received your child’s student progress report and attended the portfolio evening. Teachers have been working hard on developing their units, finding new resources, activities, as well as both teaching and evaluation strategies. They have been continually assessing and evaluating their students’ progress and needs. We hope that the progress report and the evening were opportunities for you to continue the discussions with your child related to his/her progress. We thank you for your support.

The “Kindergarten Information Evening” is another very important evening for our school which will be held on Wednesday March 10th at 7:00 p.m. We would appreciate if you spread the word, related to the advantages of French Immersion, to people in the community. Adding a second language to your child’s skills and abilities gives them a huge advantage in today’s society. Thanks in advance for being advocates of our French Immersion Program.

We would like to thank students and staff who participated in our “Operation Donation” food drive. We know that everyone is looking forward to some “family time” during Spring Break. Have a great month!
