Welcome to October!

Hasn't the weather been nice? Wednesday, October 1 is bus ridership day. After school that day there will be a Cross Country track meet at St. Vital Park. On Monday, the 6th, federal Conservative candidate, Rod Bruinooge will be at the school to speak to the Grade 9 students. At 4:00 on the 8th, there is another Cross Country track meet at the Mint. Student council elections will be held on the 10th. October 13 is Thanksgiving. There will be no classes that day.

The evening of the 15th will be the divisional Choral Celebration. October 17th is a division-wide professional development day for all staff. There will be no classes that day. Our next PAC meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:00 PM. All parents are welcome. October 22-23 will see our Grade 5-6 classes head off for some fun at Camp Arnes. Our next staff meeting will be held on Tuesday, the 28th. That means pizza lunch and early dismissal (2:30). Lastly, there will be a junior high dance at school on the evening of the 30th.
