February 2010

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The month of February has been extremely busy for us at school. There have been a great variety of learning activities at the classroom as well as at the school level. It was wonderful to witness our students participate in diverse activities which highlighted our celebration of the French culture during Festival du Voyageur and our EJR Olympics.

We have completed another evaluation cycle and are looking forward to a celebration of learning during our portfolio conferences. Reports are sent home on Friday, February 26th. Information regarding the conferences will be enclosed.

If you know of any families who would be interested in joining our school community, please pass on the word that the Kindergarten Information Night will be held on
March 10th, at 7:00 p.m. in the school library.

We will also be hosting a middle immersion information evening this Thursday Feb. 25th. If you know of anyone that would be interested in joining our French Immersion Program please share this information with them.
