Post-Secondary Information

Grade Twelve Students Take Note

 
Ongoing  Katimavik accepts applications on an ongoing basis and students are placed on a
first come – first served basis.  You can apply now for September 2008. Information and applications are both available at http://www.katimavik.org 

Youth Transition: From High School to Work  High school graduates are provided with 12 months of paid work experience to encourage them to pursue post-secondary education. On successful completion of the work experience, students are granted a bursary for up to $3,000 toward the cost of post-secondary education. Please see a counsellor for more information.

UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG HAS MADE CHANGES TO ADMISSION POLICY EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY FOR SEPT 2008 ADMISSION. The required English/Mathematics combination will be changed so that Grade 12 students will now need a minimum of one credit of English 40S (core) and a minimum of one credit of Mathematics 40S.

NORQUEST COLLEGE in EDMONTON is now accepting applications for:
• 2 year Physical Therapy Diploma
• new 2 year Therapeutic Recreation Diploma
• new 2 year Mental Health Rehabilitation Diploma
One year certificate programs are also available. DISTANCE DELIVERY option is available on a year round basis with ongoing registration. Not sure you meet the prerequisites??
