Summer Information

Students will receive an information package in the mail prior to the start of school.

August 21, 2008
The school office re-opens on August 21, 2008. New student registration or students wishing to make course changes can request an appointment to see a counsellor. Students must have parent's permission or have them attend the appointment. There is a $5.00 charge for course changes.

September 3, 2008
First day of school!  Students are asked to meet with their Homeroom Teachers during the following times:

Regular classes will begin at 1:00 p.m. The school day schedule will be condensed to allow students to meet all of their first semester teachers.

Career Cruising Website

J. H. Bruns students and parents have access to "Career Cruising", a Manitoba Education Citizen & Youth Department approved website that allows students to explore career options. You will find the link to the website on the right hand side of this page. Click on the link and it will take you to the Home Page of Career Cruising. The username is "manitoba" (case sensitive) and the password is "careers" (case sensitive).

Student Parking – A Reminder

Students who drive to school are reminded to use the Southdale Community Centre Parking Lot. The Community Centre has graciously allowed J.H. Bruns students to park in the first four rows of the parking lot closest to Lakewood Blvd. Please drive responsibly when entering and leaving the parking lot.
