Welcome to the J. H. Bruns Collegiate parent information area.

Parents or guardians with children enrolled at J. H. Bruns Collegiate will have the opportunity to log-in to a secure site to access parent resources and information about their children's learning.

Parent Advisory Council 

The objectives of the Parent Advisory Council are:

  • To evaluate and cooperate with the school in establishing and recommending school programs and policies within the school administration.
  • To communicate to the membership educational information, special events and items of concern that are brought to its attention.
  • To inform all members of existing and new educational programs, and channels of communication and resources available to them and the students
  • To be responsible community citizens by helping to educate and create a safe community.
    Proceeds of funds to be used for the betterment of our students’ education directly or indirectly.

The Advisory Council holds an Annual General Meeting in September and meet every month on the third Tuesday. The meetings are held in the Bruns library at 7:00 pm. All J.H. Bruns parents are invited to attend.

Music Parents Association

The Music Parents Association holds an Annual General Meeting in September and meet every month on the third Wednesday. The meetings are held in the Bruns library at 7:00 pm. All J.H. Bruns music parents are invited to attend.

J. H. Bruns students and parents have access to "Career Cruising", a Manitoba Education Citizen & Youth Department approved website that allows students to explore career options. You will find the link to the website on the right hand side of this page. Click on the link and it will take you to the Home Page of Career Cruising. The username is "manitoba306" (case sensitive) and the password is "careers"(case sensitive).
