Practical Arts

Grade 7 and 8 students attend Victor H. L. Wyatt School or Highbury School for Practical Arts courses.

Grade 7 curriculum is divided evenly between Human Ecology and Industrial Arts & Technology. Each student takes the following classes over the course of the school year:

  • Foods & Nutrition
  • Textile Arts
  • Graphic Communications
  • Manufacturing (Metals and/or Woods)

In Grade 8, students must select between the Human Ecology and Industrial Arts & Technology streams.
