About Us
At H. S. Paul School we work to empower each student to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for developing his or her full potential as a responsible citizen.
In addition, the 511 students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 at H. S. Paul School are supplemented with a rich palette of arts activities such as the Oil Painting Club, Sketch Club, Choir, Orff Ensemble, Jazz Band Ensemble, and Dancing in the Park. Athletic activities include Water Polo, Track and Field, an Ultimate Frisbee league, and Marathon Club.
The award-winning EcoKids Club offers stewardship activities for children in Grades 4 through 6. Students in Grades 5 through 8 belong to one of four Houses, and participate in Intramurals, House Council, Graduation Committee, Yearbook Committee, Assembly Planning and Spirit Days.
Community service and citizenship are developed in and out of the classroom through opportunities such as Amazing Announcers and the H. S. Paul Society for Leadership. More than 65 Grade 7 and 8 Student Assistants support our supervised lunch program, Winnipeg Harvest and seniors’ activities through Youville Centre.
H. S. Paul School enjoys the support of a very active parent volunteer community which works with staff to provide a safe, inclusive, engaging and challenging environment for all students.
