Cool Stuff
Mr. Olafson and Mrs. Grehan’s Grade 4 and Grade 7 classes created claymation movies this past Spring. Three of the student groups were selected by a youth jury to be part of the Freeze Frame International Children’s Film Festival. All students attended the screening in March 2007 and watched their work on the big screen!
The Frontenac Girls Grade 8 Handball team were Provincial finalists this year. Congratulations to the team!
Numerous Frontenac students have been participating in group sessions for social skills, life skills training, and nutrition training through the Learning Unbelievable Nutritious Choices for Healthy Eating (LUNCH) program. Among other dishes, they’ve created pancakes, sundaes and fruit salad!
Student Leadership members have been planting flower beds in the school’s front yard. Check out the beautiful flowers and plants growing outside our windows!
