Student Leadership

Did you know that there is a Leadership Club at Frontenac School? There are students from Grade 4-8 in Leadership. We meet a couple of times a month to discuss how we can help the school and plan activities.

Some of our ideas were to help clean up the play structure and plant and weed the flowerbeds. We entertained our school by acting out a play called “Pigs” by Robert Munsch. We helped out with making boxes and packing food donations for Winnipeg Harvest and the Christmas Cheer Board. We asked kids to bring in some pennies for “Pennies from Heaven”. We planned activities for Grades K-3 for Spirit Week and planned Soc-Hops for the school. Leadership has done these things because we care about the school and want to make it a better place.
