Practical Arts

Grade 7 and 8 students attend Windsor Park Collegiate for Practical Arts courses. For the coming year, both Grade 7 & 8 curriculum will be divided evenly between Human Ecology and Industrial Arts & Technology. Each student will take the following classes over the course of the school year:

• Foods & Nutrition
• Textile Arts
• Graphic Communications
• Manufacturing (Metals and/or Woods)

In the 2007-2008 school year, Grade 8 students will attend on the afternoons of Day 1. Grade 7 students will attend on the afternoon of Day 6. Students will follow the Windsor Park Collegiate timetable when attending Practical Arts classes.
