Welcome to Dakota Collegiate's Website

Welcome to the Dakota Collegiate website! Dakota Collegiate is a Grade 9 to Grade 12 high school located in the suburb of St. Vital in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dakota Collegiate is part of the Louis Riel School Division. Dakota Collegiate is the Division's largest high school with a population of about 1150 students for the current school year.

If you are new to our area, you can determine which high school you will attend by using the school locator link or by calling your local school. All questions about registration for next year should be directed to Mr. Ross Cathers, Vice-Principal at Dakota Collegiate.

Students who live elsewhere in the Louis Riel School Division can apply to come to Dakota Collegiate through the Parent Initiated Transfer process. The deadline for those applications is May 15. Students who live outside the Louis Riel School Division can apply to Dakota with a Schools of Choice application. The application deadline is also May 15.
