Welcome to the École Henri-Bergeron parent information area.
Later this school year, parents or guardians with children enrolled at École Henri-Bergeron will have the opportunity to log-in to a secure site to access parent resources and information about their children's learning.
In the meantime, please use the links below to access information about our Parent Council's most recent endeavours. Meetings are generally held the fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in the staff room. Come find out what PAC has planned for the coming months. All parents are encouraged and welcome to attend! Free child care provided.

The RIEL Project: Renewing Instructional Environments for Learning
As you will recall, last June, the Louis Riel School Division Board of Trustees voted to place École Henri-Bergeron under review for possible closure. A School Facility Review Committee has been established to develop suggestions to assist our school’s continued provision of quality education. The committee will also develop and conduct a process to assess the impact of enrolment patterns on our school’s educational programming options and student learning. To date, two public meetings have been held to seek input from parents and community members. A third public meeting is planned for March 10, 2008 at 7:00 pm.
Community input and other information will assist the committee to prepare a final report which will be submitted to Superintendent & CEO Terry Borys no later than March 31, 2008. In turn, Mr. Borys will present recommendations to the Board of Trustees no later than the first Regular Meeting of the Board in May 2008. Any decision related to school closure would normally occur by, but not later than, June 2008, with the earliest possible closure date for the school being June 2009. Please be reassured, however, that closure is but one of several options that will be considered by the School Facility Review Committee.
