8:30 a.m.   Opening exercises and announcements – first class

10:00 a.m.  Morning recess

11:15 a.m.   Lunch period

11:45 a.m.   Noon hour activities – gym or playground

12:10 p.m.   Afternoon classes begin

1:45 p.m.   Afternoon recess

3:00 p.m   End of school day
