Archwood School Family Centre

The Archwood School Family Centre provides family resources for parents and their children, birth to age 5. Located at Archwood School in St. Boniface, the Centre provides opportunities for both children and their parents to learn, grow and have fun together.

A "Stay & Play" drop-in program is available Monday through Thursday mornings (9:00 - 11:30), as well as a "Baby Play Day" drop-in program Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (1:00 - 3:00). Early childhood education opportunities are available for the children, as well as parent-child early literacy programs and parenting programs for the adults. Through spending time with their children and each other, parents have the opportunity to develop and enhance their parenting skills and help prepare their children for school. In addition to the drop-in and registered programming, the Archwood Family Centre also offers a book and toy lending library, community resource information, and community access to computers.

All programs are free of charge and available to families with the LRSD community and the City of Winnipeg at large. Primary funding is provided by Healthy Child Manitoba and the Louis Riel School Division.
