Assessment, Evaluation and Reporting

Reporting on student progress is a fundamental professional responsibility of educators. To strengthen student assessment and reporting procedures, the Division has reviewed its policies related to assessment, evaluation and reporting (AER). This review and research process resulted in the development of new Student Progress Reports for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12.

This year, all schools in the Louis Riel School Division will distribute new Student Progress Reports, and continue a significant journey to support student learning, encourage ongoing communication between families and schools, and provide clear, comprehensive and consistent information about student progress.
