Collège Jeanne-Sauvé

Afrique 2007

In 2004, Senior 1 students, parents and staff of Collège Jeanne-Sauvé came together in search of a project to enrich their lives. This group, now comprised of more than 400 members, affiliated itself with PAFPEC (Programme d'alphabétisation fonctionnelle des parents de l'enseignement catholique) in M'bour, Senegal. This affiliation blossomed, and Collège Jeanne-Sauvé is now involved in many community projects to support health care, education, literacy and the micro-economy. In January, 2007, a group of 70 Senior 4 students and members travelled to M'bour, Senegal to work and celebrate with their new global family.
