Organizational Chart
A critical component of any educational organization is its structure for the leadership and management necessary to support student learning. Learning organizations carefully define the roles of people responsible for these two administrative functions for several reasons:
- to perform those roles and responsibilities to advance the divisional Vision and Mission and realize Board Priorities
- to ensure that they can effectively support students, staff, parents and the greater community by leading the work on major initiatives, program areas and services
- to maintain accountability through respect for, and compliance with, legislative and ethical expectations that govern Manitoba's public education system in areas such as
- policy development and implementation
- budget development, finance and purchasing, and contract negotiations
- educational legislation, curriculum delivery and special services for students
- human rights legislation, employment practices and human resource management
- technological support services and information management systems
- facilities planning and maintenance
- transportation services
- to ensure the wise and efficient management of finite resources—human, financial and capital
The organizational chart provided displays the administrative leadership structure of the Division.
